Good stuff Monaco.

Simon and monaco... I cant think of a better matchup for anyone new to the sport to run away screaming and never, ever watch another match in their life.

Furthermore, it might even be enough to avoid sport in general.

NID result really. Pico plays way better in DC matches and he has his number against Simug. Good win overall, and thoroughly deserved.

Simon really needs to stop playing while injured, it's counterproductive and a bad habit he's fallen into - he's almost expected to play unless his legs fall off. It'd be much better long term if he took time off to fully recover than trying to compete when he's evidently struggling.

Monaco played really well except for that slump in the 1st set, surprising considering he didn't even win match this season outside DC. He may have to play a crucial match against Tsonga on Sunday so it's good he won it in straights while Jo had a long match.

Given how Tsonga had such a tough time against Berlocq, I'm starting to like Monaco's chances against Tsonga on Sunday.

It would be a very huge ask for Monaco to pull off the upset on Sunday, but it doesn't seem as hopeless as it did at the start.

Simon should have won. There are no fake excuse to look for. He is 1-7 in DC matchs. Benneteau is clearly a better choice for me. He like to plays against the odds.

Clement himself would've been a better pick instead of Simon in this match. My God was this the worst performance of the year or something like that?
