Kühnen wont leave out Waske (unfortunately)

Do you seriously think that Kohlmann is better? :retard:

As I said, the team is Haas-Mayer-Waske-Kohlschreiber-Kohlmann. I guess Kohlschreiber will be #5. The nightmare came true. Everybody knows that Mayer will play, but Kühnen said he will decide next Thursday. What a liar.

This easy tie would have been a good chance to give new doubles players confidence and sack Waske.

I think the decision against Phau was right. Although it's an "easy" draw, it must first be won. They won't take risks that was clear from the beginning. And Björn did not show ANY good result in the near past, or did I miss something. I hope he will be nominated fpr WTC, but I would habe chosen a good doubles over a DC newbie too. Sorry for Björn, but he can proof me wrong if he wants
If he would be a good doubles player, that would be something else.

beating Thailand on clay is not even a mission, its already accomplished
why do you think the thais all play on hard in Beijing

Waske and Kohlmann are old, they are not needed here
this would be the perfect chance for other players to gain DC experience

I om not saying Björn deserved to be in the team, but he could have been offered the chance to play in Davis Cup

I would even choose Gremelmayr or Becker over Phau at the moment.

And there have been many upsets on DC, so I'm never completely sure of a win... Remember Belarus? Tommy couldn't play, Kiwi only player doubles and they got their ass kicked out....beginning of the end...

Belarus is always dangerous, it wasnt really an upset
Thailand winning against germany with Haas and Mayer will never ever happen

Gremelmayr is just a brainless ball basher

I mean, if one of them gets injured, not in a perfect case. If Haas is injured and was supposed to play singles and doubles (which he is) and you have to rely on Phau to play the doubles match and maybe even a singles match, there are chances you fail. I know its the worst case scenario, but Kohlmann can "wenigstens" play doubles. But the Kohlmann case is something I would also have thought about.

I like Gremelmayr

I think neither Kohlmann nor Petzschner should have been selected, but instead someone like Berrer or Becker. Haas, Mayer, Kohlschreiber and Waske are all good enough doubles players No need for a doubles specialist in the team.

And Petzschner and Kohlmann both have been horrible in singles, so I'd opt for Berrer I guess.

By the way, Petzschner on clay is extra bad and you know it

So yes, on clay, Kohlmann is better. Not good, but still better.
