Too bad Baghdatis isn't playing, he's one of my favorite young players and I'd love to see him in action. No surprise Wessels got the WC. If Krajicek couldn't get another top20 player then this was the best alternative.

Not very happy with the decision to give Peter the WC. Although he is Dutch, I don't see how he would attract great crowds. I could have thought of better players to give the WC to.

I can't see who he could have given the WC otherwise. Maybe a young, talented player like Monfils, but I can't think of any big names who are willing to come on such short notice. |
