Hi Mimi! Win or lose, Rafa has had a great tournament. I'm loving his timed aggressive returns and the way he cranked up the serve against Berdych when he needed to. I kind of like this final. Delpo and Murray are the other top players I like beside Rafa.

Hi Veronique, good to see you around again!
Me too, I wouldn't mind him losing to Del Potro or Murray really. Sorry Mimi. Hope you're doing OK Mimi dear! And just to have Rafa back on court improving with every match is great. Some losses along the way are inevitable.
Btw I like Berdych too but I'm so tired of Nole's domination so Rafa better start beating him again.

Hi Maria! Tennis isn't so interesting when Rafa isn't playing. That said, he better pack up and go home after the final today. I don't want to see him in Miami.

I am aware it is a pretty wise decision, yet I am a little bit disappointed...

Heeey Foxy, how have you been doing?
Miami would have been waaaaaaay too much for his health ahead of the so packed spring-summer ahead.
Bless him and VAMOS now!

Special.

Comeback is officially in Selesian territory - what a player!
Thankfully I don't advise Rafa - 'Skip IW.'

Rafa the champion but JMDP no loser.

Just the type of match that makes me love tennis

Got a bit passive after being broken back in the first and began to look really uncomfortable as Delpo began to dominate Nadal's short balls. Then he found his length again and he just wore Delpo down.

Good news all around. Wins #22 MS, skips Miami to rest and get ready for the all important clay season. All is well in the world again.

I know I am probably starting to annoy you, but can you update the "Rafa's Hall of Fame" thread including the # of titles, photos, H2H? Now would be a great time

Congrats to all Rafa fans, after so much time away from the game Rafa is back winning titles! Let's hope that continues throughout the whole season!

Cheers!

This is beautiful on St. Patrick's day too.

I love it, perfect, just perfect.

Oh my gosh, boys and girls! That was so much fun!!!

Well, the first set wasn't so much fun, and I have to say that I was losing faith. The people on my left were pulling for DPo, but not violently so, the two women on my right were wild Rafa fans, inonlynthoughtbinwas a fan before I ment these two, I said to one, "I have a bad feeling." She smiled sunnily and said, "I don't." Then she and her friend began to shout and chant for Rafa at the top of their lungs, Even during points they would become anxious and the little one next to me would begin to chant "oh my god. Oh my god" over and over.

Some of the points seemed to be played on another planet. It seemed impossible for either to continue returning the ball, and yet they did and then the point would end amazingly.

And Rafa at the end was so very happy, what an emotional victory for him,

But I do have to say, Rafa fans, I am worried because as he was going around signing autographs, he was limping on his left leg just a bit.

hello friends, so good to wake up with this good news for this hateful Monday

p.s. the haters are really nuts, they said rafa faked injuries for 7 months so as to avoid the embarassement of being beaten by Rosol/recharge his batteries. Who would be so foolish to waste 7 months (7 weeks is enough to recharge) of his golden era? He is not getting any younger
