Default Indian Wells BNP Paribas, Baby! CHAMPION!!!!

The car parked next to me at the Tennis Garden this morning.

I talked to a man who said that Federer played this same Exho at the same time in New York last year and won the tournament so it was good luck for Rafa.

I hope she was Sweet Cleo!

I talked to the man and woman driving the car. We had been waiting in line to renew our tickets. They were from Phoenix. We talked about Rafa for a long time. She is a wild fan and her husband likes Rafa too. They don't like Djokovic or Federer and they would like to like Murray, but they just can't get behind him. She said she would never like another player as much as Rafa ever again

Any news about Rafa's first practice on hard in IW? He must have reached IW already.
I guess Rafa's first match will be on Sunday.

I must say his draw is really ok.
R2- Soeda/Harrison
R3- Youzhny/Malisse
R4- Seppi/Baghdatis/Tipsarevis
QF- Federer

All the players mentioned above are completly without form lately... Hopefully it stays this way.
Vamos Rafa!

Gotta say I am very intrigued to see how Rafa fares on HC for the first time in a year!

I didn't hear about him being on the grounds yesterday. Last year he practiced early and was already on the courts when we arrived. I will get there when the gates open and look for when he is practicing. Also he will probably post something on twitter or Facebook.

Last year, he stayed with the owner of the tournament Larry Ellison, a self-proclaimed "rafa fanboy" + he practiced there from time to time.
(at least, that's what I read in The New York Times)

---
star, if you happen to see Malisse in IW, a picture (or two) would be appreciated.
A match against Nadal is possible...in theory.

I will watch for him. I ran into a malisse fan and gushed about him for awhile,
