Nicolás Massú volvió al triunfo en el ATP de Umag
Con un triunfo retornó Nicolás Massú (85º ATP) al circuito de los torneos ATP 250, tras derrotar en tres sets al esloveno Blaz Kavcic (135º) en la primera ronda de Umag, Croacia.
El chileno necesitó casi tres horas para doblegar al europeo, quien se quedó con la primera manga por 7-5, pese a que el viñamarino llegó a estar 5-2 arriba.
Sin embargo, lejos de acusar el golpe, Massú volvió con todo en las dos mangas siguientes.
En la segunda quebró dos veces el saque de Kavcic y se impuso por 6-3, pese que sufrió un rompimiento en el primer game.
Y en el tercer parcial Massú no dejó opción al europeo al quebrar en el primer y quinto game, para cerrar el partido con un 6-2.
En la siguiente ronda, el medallista olímpico de Atenas 2004 enfrentará al español David Ferrer (20º), quien hoy se impuso al austriaco Daniel Koellerer (82º) por 6-1, (2)6-7 y 6-3.

yeah a win is a win  ... the next one really seems impossible 
Well Nico plays against Ferrer tomorrow, again on Grandstand court, 3rd turn and matches start 5pm Croatia time (this seems more like a night tournament  ) |

Well despite our believes Nico is playing tomorrow against A. Seppi, again on Grandstand court, first turn and the match starts at 5pm of the Night tournament, I mean the Croatian tournament |
