let´s talk about stuttgart...i´ve been there the whole week from saturday until friday. it´s been absolutely great to see nico playing that well and being that motivated, i honestly had my doubts about that after the last couple of weeks but now i´m sure he´s damn motivated and really wants it. he even did a little practice after his match on saturday as this had taken only an hour, that really surprised me. but anyway...yesterday he just couldn´t find his game, he didn´t play as great as he did all the matches before. maybe he just wasn´t ready as the match before was ended much sooner than expected because of horna´s retirement, and he might have been a bit tired, too. however, it´s been an amazing tournament and i hope this helps him to get his confidence back because that´s his main problem in my eyes, he has the possibilities to play fantastic, he just needs to believe in hisself!

Thanks Jule for the report. I hope and I pray for that Nico gets confidence in his play, so that he can show his complete potential on the court. Vamos Nico! You can do it!

Did you also talk with Nico? I would love to hear everything! .
I'm happy to hear that he's motivated, I had the same doubts about that. I hope this tournament helped him with believing in himself, otherwise we should plan a trip and go tell him that we all believe in him .

Nico's first opponent in Kitzbühel is Tomaš Zib, followed by #1 seed Nikolay Davydenko.

He is scheduled tomorrow at 11am.

Vamos Nico!

Nico is currently playing a Challenger in Segovia, Spain. He won his first round match vs Jan Mertl 6-7(6), 6-4, 7-6(6). Next opponent is Sergiy Stakhovsky.

That's nice! I want to have an ecuador-flag too
You didn't ask for a picture? That's what I did in Amersfoort, I just couldn't say more than ask for a pic and autograph and just giggle really nervously .

Dear All

I had a great week of Nico viewings in Kitzbuhel (yet again).... and therefore lots of photos to eventually share. Nico was very on form and looked more happy and relaxed in his tennis than I have seen for a long time. As he said in his press conf after beating Davydenko he felt good that when he woke up in the mornings he wanted to play tennis which he hasnt felt for a long time.

His new coach Enrique Perez (who used to coach Alex Corretja) is really good for him and for the first time in a long time, Nico has been doing his training and practice sessions with his coach and not having to always have another player as a practice partner.

To whet your appetites - daily practice sessions TOPLESS all week - even pre match knock ups so LOTS of lovely photos. I have got some great pictures from the players party at the casino - Nico was definitely the "toppest totty" in residence - although Tommy Robredo scrubbed up pretty well! Ive got about 1000 pictures from the week and its possible that over half are Nico!

I even managed to speak to him loads of times and we talked about the world cup and his new trainer. Nico even introduced me to Enrique by saying - this is Sara from London and she knows everything about me!

One little story....

At the draw ceremony on the first Saturday night in the middle of Kitzbuhel Town Square (they like to do it with great aplomb in Kitz), things were going a little slowly - the only players they could manage to get to attend were some Austrians (not even Melzer or Koubek) - Maurach scrubbed up well - and the only seed they could get there was Pashanski. Not to do Boris down - he looked as if he had just walked off a practice court and been dragged through a hedge backwards...... When the main draw had been made Mum and I were just thinking we would leave [I was not well - been affected by the heat in London] (I had taken precisely 4 photos - no use wasting film on no bodies) - when who should come towards me but the Delicious Nico and his trainer Mariano jogging topless..... Take my word for it ladies - whaaaarrrr wasnt in it. Seeing that I hadnt seen Nico topless for about 3 years it was time to grab the camera and take some lovely shots.... of a sweaty Nico.... His chest was gleaming - looked like it had been polished. Mum said my face was a picture - my jaw dropped almost to my feet...!

More soon.

Nice to see you had a nice time with Nico.

Nico won his second round match in Segovia 6-3, 7-5 and will now play the winner of Guccione-Burgsmüller.

Hi Sara

Glad to hear you had a really good time (not jealous!) You certainly have whetted my appetite for those photos.

So pleased to hear that Nico is enjoying his tennis again. It was great to see him winning so many back to back matches in Stuttgart and Kitzbuhel. Wish I could have seen more of them (just managed to catch the end of the Koubek match on Eurosport). Maybe one day I will see him play live.

Wow, great story! And I'm really very curious to see those pics! .
Cool you got to talk to him, the one time I saw him I just didn't know what to say, except for asking a pic and autograph .

I'm glad Nico is enjoying tennis again .
I want to go to Kitzbuhel sometime, it always seems like such a nice tournament.

Hey folks, have you seen the horror-draw for Nico in USO-Qualis? Well, I didn't really look farther than the first round, but that was horror enough! Hugo Armando!!! Not that I don't like Hugo, I only think there could have been many other players, who would have been easier to win for Nico than Hugo.

Anyway VAMOS NICO!!!
