I still can't fathom how on earth Berdych was able to lose this match. He was holding easily and Tsonga couldn't hit his backhand at all, Berdych was clearly the superior player for most of the match. Credit to Tsonga though, he hang in there and stayed strong .

Jo though, could be the start of the comeback. First win over a quality opponent in a while. Hope he does more damage from now on. It really sucks that these two are in the same quarter next week. They both have a decent shot of upsetting Fed or Djoker given the speed of the court in Dubai.
What comeback? He doesn't have anything to "comeback" to...

Sorry Djokonauts, I am a fan of Federer now. I've learned over the years to appreciate his contribution to the game. No one will ever surpass this man's influence.
Federer ~ The consummate professional. Never retired once in a match. Does not go over the time limit on every point.

Berdych´s antics are getting more and more ridicilous. Whining to the umpire about Tsonga moving too much during his serve!!?? Unreal... And if I understood correctly, he was also complaining about the crowd. What a sore loser, he needs to grow up, if he wants to keep at least some credibility.

Textbook chokejob and textbook sore loser display.

Berdych yet again proving he's a mental midget. Moaning about minor things. Hope Roger was watching, next time they play he just has to wind him up and the match is his.

Good win for Tsonga though, 4-1 H2H for Berdshit before today, complete domination but Tsonga finally pulled one back. Probably in with a shout for Dubai now.

LMAO @ the haters. Tsonga was average for most of the match, but he lifted his game immensely to edge it out. Berdych played a sensational match. Was just unlucky on a few key moments here and there, and moments where Tsonga was pumped as hell. Only played one bad service game in the 3rd to get broken, but other than that he was playing pretty well. He'll be fine for Dubai I think. As for Jo, this was a much needed win, especially for his confidence.
