Saved 5 mp against Tomic, saved 1mp today and two bp in crucial moments at 4-4 and 5-5 in the 2nd set and took the title
Congrats Clutchga

Wow how do you not win in 2 when Tsonga is playing like shit for 2 full sets. What a loser

Happy for Jo! Clutch stuff at the end of the second and amazing third set! Absolutely joy watching him play at home.
Am disappointed for Tomas as he should have won but am glad he lost to another one of my faves as I would be totally mad now if he didn't.

Yay! Well done Jo, nice to get a tournament under your belt to get the year on track!
Should see the 2 of them clash again next week in Dubai too.

Congrats Jo!
Tomas, you're an idiot. Completely went away in this match

Jo
Truth be told he had no business winning that 2nd set (won only 4 points on return, including 2 in the tiebreak) but thankfully Berdych is a clown and let him have it. Also, the pathetic whining later was really unnecessary

Re: Marseille F (3) Tsonga def (1) Berdych 3-6 7-6(8-6) 6-4
Tsonga was bad from the baseline today, but Berdych was nice enough to offer him a service game and Tsonga served very well.
Berdych can complain about Almagro but he targetted Tsonga 3 times at the net in this match (so did Tsonga and the French commentators think anyway), Tsonga was angry but he's a nicer guy

Berdych I want to like you! You have a nice game. And you are one of the few players with personality! I just wish it didn't seem almost entirely bad.
Well done Tsonga, very clutch sounds like though I just saw the third
