I'm posting this after having an active discussion on Twitter, so I thought it might be interesting here.

Part of the difficulty is even defining what 'best serve' means -- Big first, or include 2nd serve? What if more aces, but get lower percentage in? Lots of stats for winners, but stats fail in how serve sets up your game (ala' Fed).

I put together this video you might find interesting. Lots of video and photos, from multiple perspectives, that I took of isner and Raonic from several tournaments. Experimented with a variety of slow-motion and stop action techniques.

Did this to learn non-linear video editing (FCP X) so I admit it is "over cooked" <g> and I'd do things differently now, but there is a lot of content. Hope you like it.

I think Raonic has the better serve right now, but only just. He is shorter than Isner yet he can generate the same kind of pace and angle.

Very close, but Isner I think. Though perhaps Raonic with Isner's current form
