I like Jeff Coetzee since I saw him play in mixed soubles with Cara Black in RG! They were playing good, despite the loss in first round (against winners!).

Jeff & Rog managed to break at 4-5* and a set down, and recovered from a *5-8 deficit in the championship tiebreak to record a 3-6, 7-6(5), [11-9] victory in a repeat of the Rosmalen final earlier this year. They now face #1 seeds the Bryan bros in the second round.

Jeff & Rog were edged out by the Bryans 6-4, 2-6, [7-10]; and so
the 2007 season has now drawn to a close for Jeff, a year in which he won his fourth and fifth ATP titles - Auckland and Rosmalen. He will be in London on Thursday night so I will catch up with him and bring forth info. He will now take a break, and hopefully have some quality home at time, before he begins his preparations for 2008. Congratulations on another excellent performance mate.

Jeff has just been training in Cape Town and at home during the off-season. In 2008, he will play a lot with Wes Moodie, and they are hoping to play the Olympics together.
