San Jose SF: (1) Milos Raonic defeats (3) Sam Querrry 6-4 6-2
This one wasn't even close. Should be a decent final tomorrow vs Haas.

So happy with this easy win considering how much problem he always had agaisnt Querrey! Nice and easy, probably the best match I've seen him play in a long time!

Where does the power 2handed backhand comes from, Milos?

I was thinking the same thing. Even his ROS was great tonight. If he keeps this up he will be one tough guy to beat....

Re: San Jose SF: (1) Milos Raonic defeats (3) Sam Querrry 6-4 6-2
This was a good win for him. He needed to swat Sam aside. Coming in he was 0-4 against American bombers (Querrey,Isner,Roddick) and he even dropped an exhibition to Roddick last fall. From watching the Davis Cup against Spain and in San Jose tonight he has really improved his ROS on the backhand side. He will need more of that to pressure Haas tomorrow. Haas will be threatening to break serve more then Russell/Istomin/Querrey did.

Re: San Jose SF: (1) Milos Raonic defeats (3) Sam Querrry 6-4 6-2
Much higher level than the two previous matches. You could really see the work he's done on ROS in this match. He broke Querrey three times (and it in all honestly should have been five). If he plays like this in some big tourneys this year, he could make up some huge ground and get into the top 8.
Another game for Milos and on to Haas. Should be fun.

thank god, if he'd lost to Querrey again I think I might've been done with him.

Best match I've seen out of Milos so far. You can see big improvements in his backhand, ROS and his movement is suddenly very good. His serves were fantastic as always but he is making inroads on his weaknesses. Very impressive. Should be a fun match with Haas tomorrow.

Watched a little bit of the match, Milos was OVER-AMAZING.
Damn, that backhand... Amazing.

Raonic crushed Querrey, total dominance, great stuff.. if only every tournament was held in San Jose for his sake
