Cooperation with Rasheed is paying off.

In a QF? Well he had already done fairly well making a QF, losing to Ferrer isn't anything to be ashamed of.
Most of his big wins and good tournament results do come in Dutch events though, as far as I can remember anyway

Omg yes I have a ticket to the Rotterdam final. Roger's chances of getting there just increased.

Like Tsonga had any chance against Fed, even if he got there
Seriously Jo, what the fuck was that shit? Had a great chance to avenge his loss against Klizan in the next round, but decided to crap out instead... then again, probably wouldn't have beaten him either anyway

Re: Rotterdam R1: Sijsling sizzles Tsonga 7-6(3) 4-6 6-4
Well well well, what have we here?
Sijsling is good indoors but really Tsonga? I thought we have a new and improved Tsonga for 2013 under Rasheed, and then this. I guess his return let him down from what I've read.
Get it together Tsonga, sizzled by Sijsling

This takes the cake as far as kneejerks reactions go. So Tsonga loses a match in a 500 tournament and suddenly Ferrer is better than him ?
It's a shame he won't get to play Federer again, but Tsonga will never be the kind of player who is at a high level every week. His style of play in this era can only lead to some inconsistency regardless of any improvements he might make. It's better he has early rounds stinkers here than in bigger tournaments. I'm sure he'll be just fine next week in Marseille and then in the first few M1000 events.

the last time they played (merely a couple of weeks ago) Tsonga took Fed to 5 sets and he could easily have won as the match was decided on a very few points. It's not like Tsonga has never managed to beat Federer ever before, either.

Hmmm.. Yep Tsonga wasn't at his best, but how about a little credits for his opponent?
Sijsling was fantastic, especially in that 3rd set.
Everyone in the crowd expected him to fold after losing that 2nd set (even more - right after not being able to convert three BPs halfway that set, whereafter he started to mess up), but damn no, this guy was out for blood this evening!
Sheer joy to witness his attacking S/V playing style work out so well.
The daily tournament journal headed "Could Sijsling be able to stunt against Tsonga?" that very morrning. Sijsling commented that it would be a very tough job, and that his draw was very hard, "but it could have been even worse". He obviously was in good spirits already before the match, and it payed off.
Sijsling's biggest victory to date and I hope he'll be able to back it up with a couple more wins here in Rotterdam. With the level of play he displayed yesterday evening, the bloke surely belongs at least in the top-50. Get it done, Igor.

Not quite, he lost in R1 here last year to Nieminen.
