Re: Vina del Mar Final: Zeballos stuns Nadal 6-7(2), 7-6(6), 6-4
Zeballos is real left handed player not a false one, He played just great, went for his shots
He was offensive and believed to the last point,

How amazing is that. Yesterday he failed to serve out the match twice against Berlocq and almost squandered 6:1 lead in TB and today he played perfect almost every important point (except first set point on his own service, should finish the 2nd set back then). Mental giant

Great WIN for Horacio!
Now, he becomes a living legend of tennis and MTF.
But, even today's Nadal is too strong for Mugerer.

This Zeballos is very lucky. Give Nadal two years without injury and he'll win Vina del Mar without dropping a game.

They probably prepared the presentation thinking that Nadal was going to win.

Kudos from clutch performance to Godballos , 100% deserved victory. Nadal wasn't at his best though, he needs to find one more gear if he wants to even take serious run to that RG title, there is still lots time though so wouldn't be all that worried just yet.

Did you watch the match? Nadal was obviously not at his best, but Zeballos played an epic match.

Definitely a good result for Nadal though. I think this kid can make a name for himself yet.

Re: Vina del Mar Final: Zeballos stuns Nadal 6-7(2), 7-6(6), 6-4
Too bad I could only watch the 3rd set as for some to me undiscernable reason, my new Windows8-computer didn't allow for any livestream to properly show the match, so I had to pull out an antique 1998 Windows-NT laptop in order to be able to watch it Don't mind me here...
Amazing tennis from Zeballos, totally deserved victory.
As for Rafa - well, reaching a final after a 7-8 months injury hiatus isn't that bad a result, I presume. There have been plenty of tennis greats having done much, much worse in the past.
There's some work left for him to do right now and I'm sure he understands that very well. Count out Rafa on clay at your own perill m- I'm not going to make that mistake this upcoming season, no way.
On the other hand, matters may change fast in tennis, and perhaps Zeballos may become a genuine challenger for the truly big clay titles the coming season?
I wouldn't mind it for a bit. Nothing wrong with having some new strong contenders on this particular surface.
