Dallas CH Final: Rhyne Williams def [WC] Robby Ginepri 7-5 6-3
First CH tittle for Rhyne. Was 3-5 down in the first. At 5-5 Robby felt some pain in his lower back, and match was never the same. Great week for both. I was expecting Robby to taking it, because Rhyne played 4 hours of tennis yesterday, including the doubles match. But I was wrong. Congrats to him

I feel like a total jerk and somewhat like a clown to say this because it's over-said and sounds stupid BUT.... Robby, PLEASE RETIRE FOR YOUR FANS.
me being a huge fan. you used to be a great wildcard player who could hit wonderful form and you have that one US Open semifinal and you were really fun to watch but you've obviously lost the magic after lapses from the game and injuries. move on! you were a contender across the ATP (to some degree) but now struggle in the Challenger circuit. love you but time to cut your losses and save the fans the pain.
or keep going if you love the sport. but it just is so disappointing to see. heart breakingggggg, American tennis is so depressing, fish MIA, Roddick retired, Blake and Ginepri, both used to be wonderful ATP players, now sweating it out (and failing) to Challenger players. stuck with Querrey and ISner (well Isner's ok) and Donald Young. fucking American tennis makes you want to end life nowww it's so sad ughhhhhhhhhh

looked like it was going to be a really good match but ginepri's old back injury surfaced and that was that.
not sure if it was his back or his brain that caused the choke from 5-3 in the first but whatever it was, the match was over by 5-5.
good stuff from rhyno. definitely top 100 potential at least.

I hope Frank Dancevic loses sleep over this. This was his tournament to win - Williams was out of it yesterday and even a half decent challenger player would have put him away 6-1 in the final set
