I got the impression from the official photofinish that picture was taken after the red line, more directly between the two goal posts. But it was hard to tell for sure. This is the worst photofinish pictures I've seen for quite a while.

It's normal Czech didn't have experience for covering biathlon race, for example yesterday men sprint they missed key moments from race.
I didn't expect such a bad shooting from OEB

Re: Biathlon thread
Lol at Flatland fucking up the race for herself and Zaitseva. Don't mind Palka profiting there.

Re: Biathlon thread
Easy win for Berger? Not really, but good enough. Drama for the other medals, Flatland "flatlining" herself and Zaitseva. The Russian almost made bronze anyway, but it wasn't to be. Another medal to Pidrushna instead.
Too bad for the only (?) two mothers on Mother's day....

Berger is simply amazing this season. I sure didn't expect this. The other best athletes in the season before the WC, Gössner and Domracheva, are achieving precisely nothing here. Domracheva destroyed both her sprint and her pursuit on the first range, and today destroyed her chances at the first range again. Just terrible.

Just one more, then it would be a record...no nation ever managed six golds from one championship

This would not have happened if Neuner was still around.

True. Helena Ekholm also. They retired far too soon.

Re: Biathlon thread
Womens relay should be interesting. Any bets on Germany not taking any of the 3 medals?
Norway, Ukraine, Poland, Russia, France all seem to be doing much better than the German team at the moment.

Germany is not a medal favourite at the moment, strange as it sounds. Can't write them off, but it's more likely between Russia, Ukraine and France. Norway and Poland slightly lower chances. Berger alone can't carry the team and all the other Norwegians were terrible yesterday.
Men's individual should also be very interesting. Always hard to pick the winners there. I think it will not be Svendsen or Fourcade today.
