Sounds like Rotterdam is really slow this year, Stakhovsky has tweeted that "Montpellier is lightning compared to Rotterdam" and "If in the era of Krajicek they would play on such surfaces he would never made it to top 10.."

I don't suppose it will do very much difference. None of the top-4 entrants are known to favour slower HC over faster, and the rest are unlikely to win here.
