Federer, beating Tsonga/Del Potro in final. Hope Janowicz will make it to QF at least.

Del Po beats Fed in the Final 4-6 7-5 6-6 (7-5)

Or it may just be a blow out. I don't see Fed winning this for some reason.

Lenders: One thing people need to understand about this so-called weak era is that it was 'weak' for Federer on HC and grass and for Nadal on clay (Federer on clay too Nadal apart) because they were so much better than anyone else, for any outsider the era couldn't possibly be any harder, during 5+ years you had to either beat the best grass/HC player ever or the best clay player ever in every single Slam just to get 1 Slam title.

AO 2012, he at least played great in the first two rounds and even if he had an off day vs Chardy a loss to an on-fire Chardy is far from horrible. Watching the matches and not just looking at the scoreboard, Delpo's 2013 AO was far more encouraging than 2012, where he basically limped his way through very weak opponents until inevitably getting demolished by a Federer that didn't even need to play well.
Say what? He was awful, and Chardy didn't even have to do much at all to beat him. He was watching delPo's errors flying off his racquet more than actually bashing his way to victory. Almost choked as well, but thankfully for him he was gifted that 4-3* game in the 5th. And it's not like his draw was 'more difficult' this year. Mannarino who is now declining so badly (compared to last year), and Becker who has been washed up for quite some time now. Hell, even Chardy is easy, but look what happened. It's a terrible loss and you know it. But how it'll affect his confidence, remains to be seen. I'm not so sure he can bounce back that fast, hence IMO I don't believe he has a chance at Rotterdam. We'll just wait and see I suppose.

I seriously hope Federer plays Janowicz, just to see if their is any underlying animosity between the two. Should be a good tournament.

Hoping to win: Delpo.
Will win: Federer.

Am sorry for Davydenko but since Roger fucked up with Roddick, Davydenko will have to be the first ostrich. 4 wins for Roger to get there.

Time for the Janowicz train to start rolling, he's tough indoors.

I think that Federer is the favourite to win this (indoor tournament). We will see how Del Potro plays after a disappointing Australian Open. He can be a danger for Federer. Jo-Wilfried Tsonga has his chances... and, despite the fact that I really like Gasquet, I think that he has no chances to win it (it will be an excellent result for him to reach the quarterfinals). Gasquet is not playing very very well in Montpellier, and I expect him to reach the finals of Montpellier so he will be tired in Rotterdam.
