Are we sure there are not a few words missing here?
I think he said,“I believe I have a chance of winning a round at the French Open,” etc etc.

So did we, my friend, and I am not bragging about it.
You two stop it. You are both being silly.

Re: Murray: I can win French Open
Djokovic on grass is under-rated. In 2007 he made the SF in Wimbledon just turning 20 and was beating Nadal before getting injured. In 2008 he was unlucky drawing Safin in R2. 2009 he lost to Haas but he was playing like crap at the time. Then he made SF, won it and SF again. He doesn't have a title because the grass season lasts 1 month and there's only one important tournament. Murray never won anything on clay but apart from RG there are 3 M1000 and countless 250 and 500 all across the year. Djokovic on grass is definitely superior to Murray on clay.

Late bloomer?? In 2007 he was in the TOP 10 IIRC, same as Djokovic pretty much. He's been at the top for a while now. It took him a lot of time to finally win a slam, but that doesn't make him a late bloomer.

Re: Murray: I can win French Open
The funny thing about this thread is Murray could say "I have no chance" and get would get slaughtered on here.
