Re: Andrew Murray
Yay!! Andy won today!! He beat Naso 6-2 6-2!!
He doesn't seem to have played the doubles match with Kennagh yet...
Also on the plus side for Andy, the 2nd seed, Donald Young lost today...though I would have been confident Andrew could have beaten him too!!

Re: Andrew Murray
Britain's Andrew Murray reached the quarter-finals of the boys' singles at the French Open with a 6-2 6-2 win over Gianluca Nasso of Italy.
The 18-year-old, the top seed in Paris, is playing his first junior event since winning the US Open last September.
Since then Murray, who is ranked 359 in the world, has made his ATP Tour and Davis Cup debut.
Murray's doubles partner Andrew Kennaugh plays his fourth-round match against Sam Querry on Wednesday.

Re: Andrew Murray
Thanks Cindy!! I think JC looks really cute in it!
Andy won in the doubles today with Andrew Kennaugh....they won 6-3 6-4!
Unfortunately Kennaugh lost his singles match (it was kind of 6-0 6-0!) but considering he is ranked 91st in the junior rankings, he did really well! Come on the Andrew's!! lol

Re: Andrew Murray
Yes for the Andrews winning in doubles!!! Hopefully Andrew can win tomorrow against Juan Martin del Potro!
Briton's run ends in heavy defeat
Andrew Kennaugh's surprise run in the French Open boys' singles came to an abrupt end with a 6-0 6-0 defeat to American Sam Querrey.
The 17-year-old Briton, ranked 91st in the junior rankings, came through qualifying to play in a Grand Slam tournament for the first time.
But he was outclassed by world number 18 Querry in the last 16.
Top seed Andrew Murray, Britain's only remaining representative, plays his quarter-final on Thursday.
His opponent is sixth-seeded Argentine Juan Martin del Potro.

Re: Andrew Murray
MURRAY HANDED STELLA WILD-CARD
US Open boys' champion Andrew Murray has been handed a wild-card entry into next week's Stella Artois Championships.
The Dunblane-raised 18-year-old triumphed at Flushing Meadows last September, following in the footsteps of Andy Roddick, Pat Cash and Stefan Edberg.
He has since been called up for Davis Cup duty by Great Britain captain Jeremy Bates, with he and David Sherwood winning their doubles rubber against highly-ranked Israel pair Jonathan Erlich and Andy Ram in Tel Aviv.
However the appearance at Queen's Club marks a distinct progression in his career, with the Scottish teenager having to date played just one tournament on the main ATP tour.
Next week's tournament will be his debut at senior level in Britain, and Murray seems certain to be handed a further wild card into Wimbledon, with the Lawn Tennis Association's tightened restrictions not applicable to men under 20.
Also entered for the Stella Artois Championships are Tim Henman, Greg Rusedski, Lleyton Hewitt and Andy Roddick.
Murray, currently involved in the boys' singles at the French Open, has been warned against expecting too much from his first experience of playing top-level grass-court tennis in front of a home crowd.
"It's going to be a nice tournament for him," said Emilio Sanchez, who runs the Sanchez-Casal academy in Barcelona where Murray trains.
"What he needs is to get used to this level of tennis.
"Andrew is a great talent and he has a promising future in front of him, but there is still a long way for him to go and it's not the same to win in the juniors as on the main tour."

Re: Andrew Murray
 nice win andrew!!!
and for the wildcard!!
Britain's Andrew Murray cruised into the last four of the French Open boys' singles with a 6-4 6-2 win over Juan Martin Del Potro of Argentina.
Top seed Murray, who won the US Open last year, claimed a decisive break towards the end of the first set before racing into a 3-0 lead in the second.
Del Potro broke back for 3-1 as Murray, 18, struggled with his serve.
But the Scot broke back immediately, losing only one more game as he earned a semi-final against Marin Cilic.
It has been a good day for Murray as it was announced during the match against Del Potro that he has been given a wildcard into the Stella Artois tournament at Queen's Club.
