today was mixed. When she went to bed last night she made a move with the leg (she doesn't know which, and it doesn't matter actually) and got a cramp... We had to go shopping though today as tomorrow is the birthday of a friend and she wants to or promised to make a cake for it. But actually that was quite a pain. On the positive side she got in two weeks the date with the new orthopedist. We thought she would get that date only in about 2 months time. But all in all it was more a bad day with a positive note.

So still no real change. And I can only imagine how painful it was for her to be on her feet even if only for a relatively short amount of time. As you say, to have the new appointment so soon is positive and at least it holds out the hope of maybe having a specific diagnosis and some sort of resolution to this problem a little sooner.
