Shouldn't celebrate like this when your opponent retired

yup. quite a good example he's setting for the kids. destroying material goods (that are costly for the normal people) in order to celebrate a victory in front of the loser

Like Calleri vs Kuerten in 2003, or last year Leo Mayer vs Bellucci.
Yet, you critisize a guy who fought for over 4h in >40°C (there were 5°C more on court) on his first DC win.
What puzzles me is what are your grounds on morals to say "brazilians this" when you have the second worst crowd in latin america.
Which leads..
Oh sorry.. I can't hear you over the chairs you throw on DC whenever your team gets schooled
Need I say more?
typical from an argie to say that.
yes, that chair incident wasn't the brightest moment but it takes some nerve to say we were being "schooled". the public merely reacted violently to the antics of a foreign team.

typical chilean. What about the Fernando Gonzalez vs Pablo Cuevas Vińa del Mar SF incident??
When you guys even went as far as shutting down the power so the lights would go out and get Feńa some time to regroup and win?? Also, chanting insults to Pablo...
Need more examples of soreloserships?
So eat your words up.
Re: Charly Berlocq Goes Djokovic After Davis Cup Win
I am becoming a fan of this Berlocq like I did of Dr. Ivo. I don't like to repress myself either. It only bothers me when Murray yells at his mother in the box, he needs to tread carefully when his momma is around. It makes me mad.

i don't even know what you're talking about but as a typical argentino there are conspiracy theories for you to believe

Yeah, I'm no Nadal fan but at least he has stated that he never breaks rackets or destroys equipment because most people can't even afford them. You'd think Fakervic, being from a relatively poor country, would have a similar attitude but instead his own lack of class and vile personality overshadow everything else. What a great inspiration our current #1 is to children on the rules of etiquette
Anyway this thread is about Berlocq. I don't like ripping shirts but people don't really understand that for a mediocre player like him, this is the highlight of his career most likely. He's also not used to the media spotlight, instead the challenger tour is very much like the old ATP tour with personalities and raw, aggressive battles between guys for a chance to eat something besides the dollar menu that night. Berlocq deserves to rip his shirt far more than the millionaire Fakervic.
Re: Charly Berlocq Goes Djokovic After Davis Cup Win
at least he doesn't win tie breaks by trash talking at the opponent.
he earned his victory. yes, he could have kept his cool, but it's Davis Cup, and he's argentinian, and argentinians would love winning this even more than bagging a major

30-something man: Yeah, so now you have to learn to play tennis.

20-something girl: Then we can be corporate hos and tennis pros -- duh.
30-something man: We should do commercials... Why don't we work for an ad agency?!

He did not destroy material in front of the loser. Did you not read this thread?
