Only saw the last few games.

Weintraub predictably surrendered at 5*-6. From 30-30 he missed two put-away shots and missed an overhead at the service line

Then on MP, netted the backhand. What a clown, no heart

Really impressed with Weintraub. He has a very entertaining game (one-handed backhand ).

exactly! he doesn't have the opportunity to face top opposition like that very often. He did quite well to take a set off Tsonga, and was holding his own in the 4th for a while as well -- probably just got nervous.

Always a shame to see a one-hander lose to a two-hander, although this two-hander is smart and admits that the one-hander is superior so added it to his arsenal.

Nice fight by Amir, he plays superbly well on Dc. Tsonga keeps needing work, another tight match vs bad ranked players, 2012 all over again.

Amir played a wonderful match, up until those last 2 points... First set Stronga was there and I was scared Amir will be annihilated but he kept his head in it and even though the 2nd set wasn't any better he kept going in the third and managed to snatch a set, it did require a double break but he still got it done.

4th set was nerve wrecking for Tsonga as well as he started feeling the pressure and his serve kept bailing him out, every rally went to Amir but those first serves were just too much.

Then came the last 2 points... Missing that smash and then netting a UE was just devastating, he could barely speak in the interview after the match, was just so gutted.

No matter, the way he's playing lately I'm hoping for some more 2nd rounds in slams and maybe some more nice runs in the smaller tournaments.

Amir played great match against his first top 10 opponent ..
I think he showed that he could be a top 100 or better if he playes like that for at least 3-4 monthes a year!
Tsonga was not ready for him and i think had a tactical mistakes all over the match

sorry about those last 2 shots but hope amir can take the momentum of 2nd round in first GS appereance and taking a set to tsonga and win next week challenger to clime to new High ranking

The whole israeli team has a one-handed backhand. (Sela, Weintraub, Erlich, Okun - would have been the same with Andy Ram)
