Well deserved, time for his first GS final in Paris.

Federer, Nadal and Djokovic pander to plutocrats and charge huge appearance fees. The "trickle down effect" means that tournaments like the Heineken Open now have to pay appearance money for racketeers that many of us have never heard of. It's close to extortion.
At the end of Federer's first round match at the Australian Open a fawning interviewer asked about his kids and if he had bought coach Stefan Edberg a birthday present - no, by the way, the privilege of knocking up with 'King Roger' was enough of a present apparently.

They want to succeed. Many of them, they don’t succeed in the end. I’m fortunate to have this opportunity and succeed.”
all these years never thought I would feel so big animosity towards him but it's really no point in watching him in semis of biggest tournaments with 0% upsets ability. 90& of other guys ranked in top 20 have better chance to do some damage on current day than Ferrer on any day. Watch when this year he starts to be inferior to Murray on clay and you'll understand my point more and more
He's a hard worker but let's get real: he's #4 because Nadal hasn't played in over half a year We also don't need to see him reaching the semis of a slam again because it's boring to watch him get stomped time and time again by Federer and Djokovic. I expect Murray to start extending his h2h lead too.
