Re: Match of the Month: January 2013
I didn't see Ferrer-Almagro but my choice is
Gael Monfils – Gilles Simon.
Federer-Murray - in second place.
Novak Djokovic – Stanislas Wawrinka,
Janko Tipsarevic – Lukas Lacko
are Cat-mouse matches..
Australian Open Final: Novak Djokovic – Andy Murray - boring match

Re: Match of the Month: January 2013
Monfils v Simon was simply pathetic. Disgusting Pushing all the time paired with some unreal faults.
I guess we would see better tennis at every Future Tournament.
Wawa v Djokovic best match of the tournament. No doubt. Waw should have won this but still a big match, maybe one of the greatest matches in AO history.

Re: Match of the Month: January 2013
Kohlschreiber vs. Malisse in Auckland is missing. One if the best two set Matches I have ever seen.
But of course it is Djokovic vs. Wawrinka!

Speaks volumes about the quality of this match if already the second post is mentioning this
Djokovic-Wawrinka seems the obvious choice,if only for the drama.
Fed-Tsonga and Fed-Murray were close quality-wise though.
