All I eat these days are antibiotics.
Just kidding, I can eat soft food.

Well, truthfully it could have been better. My niece put her elbow through a glass door 2 days before Christmas and had to get 11 stitches And one of the twins caught the chickenpox

But this all will heal. Have you had chickenpox? I think I have.

Hope my gum is not beyond repair.

In other news, I liked Rafa's new shirt & outfit.
And I really won't be able to watch Nole's matches with Becker's fat mug in the stands.

The Fed & Edberg combo on the other hand.... JM better appreciate my support to the old man.

Up to now I've been watching but now I swear I'm like you, I have to pass. Even if he plays Rafa.

And ANYONE for the AO thread? We have some time yet so think about it.

I guess I also had them in the kindergarten so I don't remember much either, I had mumps and measles when I was older so them I know.

Hilde, I read Janet Evanovich's Takedown Twenty. It was better than that last non-Stephanie Plum novel, the one neither of us liked. Takedown Twenty is very much like the usual Stephanie Plum ones. Have you read it?

Argh...I was never much of an Edberg fan when he was playing but I fear that the drooling over the Edberg/Fedberg combo will be extremely nauseating.

I have read it.

I would agree indeed. The non-Stephanie Plum book (the heist) was terrible. I don't know what happened there but there was no charm, no chemistry between the two main characters,... The new Stephanie Plum book is better.

Takedown Twenty follows the same old recipe so there are zero surprises in it but it's a fun and easy read about those characters again: Lula (a favorite character of mine), grandma Mazur, Ranger (I prefer Ranger to Morelli)

My report to Hilde: went to see 47 Ronin. To me it was OK, nice in 3D but not that much of Keanu really. It figured though. It's not doing too well at the box office in the US or Japan I read, too Hollywoody for Japan and too Asian for the US. Not gonna tell you but it's about a Japanese legend which you surely already know anyway.

I'm gonna refrain then.
As said, I wasn't a fan of any Becker-Lend-Edberg in their days () even if it wasn't much I could see on TV back these days, must be like Fed-Nadal-Djokovic for some nowadays.

I mean I'm sure he's all CGI'ed too, not bad for a 50-y-o though.
Go see for yourself, the story is nice IMO, but that's just MY opinion of course. For me overall a nice movie.
Btw I'm surprised my eyes take the 3D that well, seen quite a few movies in 3D by now with no problems.

Indeed

the fact that Edberg looks like my back in the day ex clone doesn't help matters

can you imagine how many times the word "class" will be used?

I wonder what is the root of the obsession Fedophiles have with the word "class".... Probably because most of them have none....

Happy to report that i saw Point Break something like 5 times in the last 2 days
