It's not the best match up in the world because they have similar styles. Not like Sampras/Agassi, Federer/Nadal, Federer/Djokovic, etc. But the fact that it's similar makes it interesting too.

For me the problem is that with these two, one is often playing like cr*p, and losing terribly and then, by magic, they switch roles . Matches like Shangai are an exception.

Sometimes it's brilliant (AO 2012, Olympics, Rome and Shanghai), ordinary (USO 2012, WTF 2012) or just plain shite (Miami 09 and 12)

I mean, I think Murray would be more successful if he exploited his volleying talent more often, but Djokovic can pass anyone on a slow court. And Murray is one of the best passers as well so..
Anyways I like their matches as long as Andy doesn't lose from a set or two up. That is too much stress. Any other result is fine, Andy losing a lead drives me crazy. Djokovic's comebacks are much more fun against Fed.

Miami in general tends to bring the worst out of any match out. I still shudder at the thought of that Novak vs. Roger match at Miami ´09.

People need to forget that horrible USO final match which was like playing tennis in a strange wind tunnel.
Their matches are high quality baseline affairs.  Can be a bit boring, but usually provides some drama and fun. They don't visit the net too often but tthe reason for that is also in their amazing passing shots.
Still much better than any WTA match.
