Federer is fabulous and pretty on courts of all bounce speeds but Djoker and Nadal are physical & lucky.
Even Fed says that.

Default Endless Djokovic/Murray debates. Do you like their matches?

From what i've read, people seem to be split on this.

Do you like their matches? Or do you not like them?

Yes, I'm a fan of baseline rallies etc. I can totally understand why people don't like their matches though.

No. Both are allergic to the net and tend to stay away from it.

Man i like baseline rallies but i don't like baseline rallies in basically the same way over and over again ... They hit perfect DTL they hit Perfect CC what's the interesting thing ? Left-right-right-left-left-left-left ? No Imagination whatsoever ... i'll cheer for Andy although i'm not going to watch the match simply cause Andy at least has variety in his game and i kinda like his slice + has twice as much talent as Djokovic so ... Go Andy !!!

Not really. There's only defence in their matches. It's probably the most defence orientated match up in the top 4. All the others have some sort of attacking strategy. This one really doesn't.

Hi I love the matches where they really played well but the matches where both of them are average is just forgetable to watch . That turns into a pushfest

These are all their matches and how I rate them

2006 Madrid - I cant remember this match at all so wont judge this
2007 IW- somewhat boring but fun to see Novak reach his first final
2007 Miami - this were a forgettable match
2008 MC- again cant remember this match
2008 Canada- This was a good match and fun to see Andy beat Novak . I think this was the first big title Novak had to defend in his career where the pressure was there
2008 Cincinatti- I confess I slept though this one
2009 Miami- I found this boring
2011 AO - a very very boring match and could put you into sleep
2011 Rome- this was a real classic and the first produced by these 2 . I highly recommand someone to watch this one if they havent seen it
2011 Cinci- a somewhat boring match because of that injury
2012 AO- the first 1.5 sets were dull but after that it was a classic and one of the best matches of the season
2012 Dubai- I wasnt able to see this one
2012 Miami- I found this one to be pretty boring
2012 Olympics - I missed this one as well but I heard the quality was good
2012 UO- one of the worst slam finals in the open era
2012 Shanghai - a pretty great match and lot of drama . One of their better matches for sure
2012 London - a good match as well

So till now most of their matches are average or below average with the only poor one being the matches at Cinci and Miami and the horrendous ones like AO final previously.

I think these 2 have only produced 3 classics as well in 17 matches

Thier biggest issue is that these 2 are almost carbon copies of each other and as a result its the same type of matches we witness . I still believe they can have the good matches and hopefully tomorrow is another edition to that

They've played some great matches.

But yes, I do like their matches as a whole.

Some of their matches are good, others are not, so it really depends. US Open was a poor match but being a Murray fan I was just glad that he finally got the win.

Two top 4 players, so it's a competitive matchup. But I don't particularly like those matches, why?

First of all, I prefer attcking tennis over baseline rallies. Still, Nole-Muzz felt quite interesting in OG SF & USO F. OG was their first meeting on grass, USO their first meeting in a GS F. But AO F doesn't feel particularly intersting. We've had too many Noleray finals recently, this is the 3rd big HC event in a row with Noleray final (USO, Shanghai, AO). Having same players in final wouldn't be that big a problem if only I liked their playing style, I could watch Fed-Tsonga finals every week.

But here's once again a problem of surface homogenization. Same players reach final rounds on every surface, and they face often, making their meetings less special. Nothing was more boring than four Djodal GS finals in a row, especially as they had so many other meetings during the previous two years. But compared to Noleray, at least I had a favourite in that matchup.
