Very expected presence of Kyrgios at the final from his side of the draw, living up to the expectations. The same could be said for Kokkinakis but I (as well as many others I'm sure) was expecting Quinzi to make it... still not too disappointed considering he lost to one of the best juniors in the world plus it's not a career changing defeat by any means.
Let's not forget these two have been preparing specifically for this specific tournament for more than a month, Kokkinakis even to deliver at the qualies of the men's event so, really, it's probably safe to say it's almost their most important tournament of the season not just because it's a slam but also at home soil. Quinzi, on the other contrary, has been on vacations since dec after the Orange Bowl and didn't have that same preparation. Not justifying it at all since the result probably would've been the same, but it's a fact.

It's going to be great, that's for sure.
Thanasi will have to be a little more disciplined than in the semi-final to beat Nick. Going to go for Kyrgios in three sets, great match in prospect, though.

Kyrgios is not curious of Kokk as they are friends. Kokk is powerful but raw, but I expect him to be greased up in years to come. This time I expect Kyrgios to tame Kokk. Kokk will come at him hard and fast, but Kyrgios can grind when needed and will erect the trophy.
