“Does Djokovic resemble myself?” Agassi said. “No, he is even better. He defends really well, while I struggled more in that element of the game. Novak looks totally relaxed when defending, completely calm and the quality of his return is incredible. He is also extremely flexible in his game, which is facilitated by his ability to anticipate his rival’s moves. That is why I think he is a much more versatile player than I was and he is also much more athletic.”

trainwreck to watch. DJokovic was very good BUT Ferrer was the worst I've seen him in a long time. I don't know if it's just a total lack of confidence or what, but he had literally NO weight of shot. It's Ferrer so you don't expect him to have that much power, but from his serving to baseline ground strokes, everything was going short, he was playing extremely predictable, rarely ever hitting good angles, never hitting the ball hard. I mean sure no one expected Ferrer to even win a set and Novak was the heavy favorite, but I can't determine from that match if Ferrer was not giving it the effort/believe he should have or if his game just really is this off

Novak was playing a very clean game but Ferrer was practically asking to lose every point by hitting very routinely short and in the center of the court, not setting up plays, serving very poorly, moving badly, etc

congratz to Novak and his great form but as a David Ferrer fan I am extremely dissapointed , the fighter we're all used to was not on the court today and he appeared to have come in with no gameplan or attempted execution. super disappointed

this was the best I've seen Djokovic play in...well ever maybe. After gaining some confidence he started ripping the ball. Angles, speed, aggression, everything clicked. Third title seems very likely. Well done Nole!

Ferrer is completely useless against the top players. He just doesn't have the power or tactics to trouble these guys. Can't really blame him for not fighting like he usually does, because he was being ripped apart. This result once again shows that the gap between top 4 (with Rafa, not David) and the rest is too big.

urgh. Vulture declawed, but not really because that would imply Ferrer had claws to begin with. He doesn't. No weapons. Even serving at 65-70% e was broken at will. Joke of a match

he can't 'beat him' but he certainly can trouble him. Ferrer played horrible today, frankly I don't remember a worse showing in a SF of a grand slam in a long long time. even Ferrer's Roland Garros SF loss at least he was hitting the ball decently at times, but in this match he was a trainwreck
