Nystrom was the man!
Where is that crafty, quick, talented and good looking guy anyway?

Re: Nystrom was the man!
Unsure but I think his last match was in 1989 at Palermo where he lost to Goran Ivanisevic.

Re: Nystrom was the man!
Joakim Nyström is the assistant coach to Wilander in the Swedish Davis Cup team and he is the captain of the Swedish Fed Cup team, there is a massive amount of work there sadly.

Re: Nystrom was the man!
Sorry to interfer, but Nyström recently got relieved from his duties as Swedish Fed Cup captain. He's now "only" assistant DC coach. Although I wonder who really is the boss of that team...
Catarina Lindqvist is the new Fed Cup captain.

Re: Nystrom was the man!
Thanks for that piece of information Aphex, well as for being the assistant DC coach it's like old times with Mats and Jocke together again.
I remember they won the Wimbledon doubles together that was a surprise, but I was a big fan of the skellefteåbo.
