Not his problem, his main goal is to win this tournament, and I fully understand him doing everything he possibly can to make that happen. Including saving as much energy as he can, since he's going to need it later.
And in the end if he wins it, that would make you far happier as a fan.

And I don't know what you are defending. He is playing 'fine' but he is one of the best players in the world. If I went to watch him play I would like to see him perform like one of the best.

Re: 2013 Live Commentary
Murray winning 6-3 6-1 6-1 and his fans are pissed he doesn't try hard enough. Do you want him to go full Sharapova and lose 5 games in 4 matches? Because Andy isn't nearly that good yet of having to worry about how many games he'll lose on his road to the title.
Leave that to Nadal at Roland Garros.

I am not really a fan of Murray. He is a good player but not my style. As a neutral watching, I am not really impressed.
They want ratings for the finals but these matches are being played before audiences, too. If Murray played his best, more people would watch. A lot of people will have turned off.
What kind of attitude is 'not my problem I want to win'? What does Andy want to win? A trophy, yes. And a lot of money to pay that huge entourage. And where does that money come from?

Leave that to Nadal at Roland Garros.

When Maria wins 0 and 0 she gives it her all EVERY point. Murray is winning this so easily because his opponent has no energy.
I don't get your point about worrying about how many games you lose until the final and what that has to do with Andy giving his best like Maria.
