Re: Isn't it time to set a 5th set tie break at the Australian Open?
Nole-Stan 5th set wasn't too long. Neither Fed-DelPo 3ed set @ OG. But Tsonga-Raonic 3rd set @ OG was too long. They should have a TB at 20-20. Maybe it could then be to 20 points, to reduce the effect of luck.

Yes, commentators were discussing this a few days ago.
A tie breaker at 12-12 would be perfect. You'd still have the epicness of a long fifth set, but not so that players are exhausted.
I mean, some match ups just take long, regardless of a fifth set tie breaker.

5th set tiebreak is a joke, no surprise that the only slam using it is the joke US open slam which is poorly organized in all ways.

Last set tie-breaks should be abolished at all tournaments.

Nope. One of the best traditions still left in Tennis. USTA are mugs for changing it, but of course they have to be different.

If you're not good enough to win in straights, an extended overtime in the final set is your punishment. Simple as that.

If they didn't do it after Roddick-El Ayanaoi, I doubt they'll do it any time soon.
