He made only the 2nd round at the German Championship and injured his foot when he kicked the umpire's chair in frustration. But now he's back.

His schedule for the first three weeks is Germany F1 (starts today), Germany F2 and Austria F1.

After a bad start in week 1 (I wanted to watch him, but he even didn't make the doubles semis), it looks like he's playing well at the moment. But he will drop in the rankings, if he can't win some main draw match in Heilbronn this week.

Germany F1 (15+H)
1R F.Nielsen(415) d. P.Petzschner 7-6(6) 6-3

withdrew from Germany F2 (10)

Austria F1 (15)
1R P.Petzschner d. H.Wiltschnig(433) 6-3 6-1
2R P.Petzschner d. P.Marx(418) 6-4 5-7 6-4
QF P.Petzschner d. P.Ivanov(440) 6-1 6-4
SF E.Gulbis(422) d. P.Petzschner 6-1 6-2

Heilbronn CH (100+H)
Q1 P.Petzschner d. A.Goloubev(395) 7-6(7) 6-1
Q2 P.Petzschner d. J.Minar(322) 7-6(3) 2-0 ret.
QR P.Petzschner d. L.Uebel(252) 6-3 6-2
1R P.Petzschner - D.Köllerer(147)

Damn, this court looks cool . I've hardly seen such a red court surface What a deep red... hell no, I don't even know how to call that color

Zib d. Petzschner 6-1 3-6 6-1

Next one is Germany F5 (15'000+H) and then probably other indoor challengers.

Kas/Petzschner d. Gasquet/Grosjean 6-3 4-6 10-7

The match was on live stream! From what I saw he played well, even the returns, but choked a bit in the second set. They had triple break point at 2-3 40-15 in the 2nd set, but didn't come back (PP missed some easy return at bp).

First set was with double break, I think they never lost serve when Petzschner was serving. Next match is versus winner of Ancic/Ljubicic and Erlich/Ram.

New ranking is 96 in doubles and with this win 50 more point to add.
Singles is 370, but of course he has no "big" number of points to defend the whole year (33 of 81 points earned this year).

Great win, but I fear now he can't play singles qualifying again, because the Semifinal in on Saturday.
