w2 Auckland (8th alt) (w/Kohlmann)
w3 Australian Open
w4 Australian Open or Heilbronn
w5 Zagreb
w6 Rotterdam 500 (7th alt)
w7 Memphis 500
w8 ?
w9 Garmisch (Davis Cup)
w10 Indian Wells
w11 Indian Wells
w12 Miami
w13 Miami

Interesting, he got direct entry to Memphis 500, I wonder whether he really plays Rotterdam before. I think in Rotterdam even a doubles entry is hardly possible. In week 8 there are two 500s and Delray Beach, but I doubt he will play it right before the Davis Cup.

1R Petzschner/Peya d. (3)Fyrstenberg/Matkowski 6-1 7-6(5)
QF Petzschner/Peya - Cerretani/Hanescu

Very good returning stats today, even a triple break in the first set.

Now he should have enough time to play Auckland qualifying.

I don't think it's possible to get information about this from the German media.

We just have to hope he is fit on Tuesday or whenever the doubles start. The draw is Kohlmann/Petzschner vs Huss/Hutchins, an interesting match.

Kohlmann/Petzschner d. Huss/Hutchins 4-6 6-4 10-8

They started 0/18 !!! on return, then suddenly got 2 break points at 4-4, but it didn't help. In the second set they had easier service games than H/H and made the decisive break at 4-4.

Cermak/Mertinak are next!

Philipp with Michael Kohlmann, that sounds like strong doubles team.
I like that.

The match will start around 9am CET on center court, so it might be on livestream on e.g. bwin.

Too bad I won't be here.

edit: 1-6 4-6, pathetic.

Great draw for Philipp!

1R (15)Wawrinka vs Minar
1R (Q) vs Klein
1R Petzschner vs Dabul
1R Ginepri vs (20)Berdych

Dabul is must-win I would say.

First time main draw of Aussie Open singles.
Yes JMG, it's not hard draw for Philipp. It sounds like good result.

Great draw (except that it won't be on a show court). Allez.

Do you know when the doubles MD will be out, JMG?
