He only played the "Bundesliga" the last month, you can read that thread if you want to know what it is:
http://menstennisforums.com/showthread.php?t=45240

These were his results: (on clay)
29 July: Ramirez-Hidalgo d. Petzschner 6-3 6-4
31 July: Behrend d. Petzschner 1-6 6-4 6-3
05 Aug: Petzschner d. Fraile 6-4 6-4
07 Aug: Di Mauro d. Petzschner 7-5 3-6 6-0
12 Aug: Darcis d. Petzschner 6-2 6-2
14 Aug: Kohlschreiber d. Petzschner 6-3 6-2
19 Aug: A.Popp d. Petzschner 7-6(4) 6-4
21 Aug: Mayer d. Petzschner 6-2 3-6 6-3

I hope he will play in a qualifying this weekend, but he is not on any entry list for next week, but he is the 2nd alternate in Budapest (clay) and that's in week 37, so that might be his next tournament.

In a few weeks, we have around 10 weeks of indoor tournaments. I'm already looking forward to celebrating his successes there.

What a disappointing start into the indoor season!

He lost to S.Bohli 3-6 3-6 in the Grenoble Challenger qualifying.

There are actually some weeks without European indoor challengers in October, so maybe we'll see him play some bigger events like Metz, Moscow, St.Petersburg. In metz he reached the QF two years ago.

First Round:
P.Petzschner d. I.Karlovic 7-6 6-1 !!!!!

2nd round is against Mahut or Devilder. I think now he earned 12 points, a QF would give him 24.

2R
N.Mahut d. P.Petzschner 2-6 7-5 6-0

PP had a break point to go 6-2 2-0 up, but wasted his chance. User PatatRiek said that PP also had an injury timeout in the 1st game of the 2nd set, but obviously nothing serious.

I hope he plays Moscow or Stockholm qualie now.

EDIT: Doubles QF
Petzschner/Kas d. Niemeyer/Parmar 6-2 6-4

Of course, he couldn't play qualies in Stockholm after reaching the semifinal in Mons doubles. And fortunately, he won the whole tournament!

SF Petzschner/Kas d. Landsberg/Phillips 6-4 6-4
F Petzschner/Kas d. Cibulec/Vanhoudt 7-6(4) 6-2

Petzschner has reached a new career highest ranking in doubles (121).
That's better than Kohlschreiber, Kiefer and Mayer.

In singles he's 275 now. I hope he can take the points in the last 6 weeks of the season to qualify for AusOpen qualies and maybe to come near the top 100 in doubles. Last year the cut-off was 433, which was a bit unusual.

Yes, he even had one matchpoint there.

He will probably play the two challengers in Korea now, at least the second one in Busan, where he got direct entry.

Petzschner proved again how good he is in doubles against the well-known doubles players Allegro/Lindstedt. But I fear he can't play qualifying for next week because of the doubles.

Kolding Challenger
Q1 P.Petzschner d. F.Sadeghi 7-5 6-2
Q2 F.Moser d. P.Petzschner 6-3 2-6 7-5
--- (no-ad rule and match-tiebreak instead of 3rd set in doubles)
1R Petzschner/Kas d. J.Delgado/Parmar 6-4 6-2
QF Petzschner/Kas d. Lindstedt/Allegro 6-4 5-7 [10-8]
EDIT
SF Huss/Landsberg d. Petzschner/Kas 6-3 3-6 [10-6]

Disappointing weeks after Kolding. He couldn't play Seoul qualifying and withdrew from Busan (main draw). Now he retired in Eckental qualifying first round again David Klier ((3)6-7 0-4 (reason: patella)), but it still in the double draw with Kas. What a shame he didn't get a WC here! He was in the quarterfinal last year and now even an unranked player got a WC, none of them is in the top 500.

Only two weeks of indoor tennis are left and I hope he can play the qualifying for Helsinki this weekend and then maybe with a bit of luck get direct entry for Prague or Sunderland in two weeks.
