He won't play the grass challengers, he's on the list for Scheveningen (clay) in 2 1/2 weeks.

A shocking 2-6 1-6 against a no.450 and a surprising loss in doubles - that was Scheveningen. He should have played the German challenger this week.

At the moment he is the 4th alternate for Tampere (week29), so this could be his next tournament. Another possibility is to play Stuttgart qualifying.

Starting from the 29th July, he will play German League tennis for his team TC Piding for about 4 weeks (always on Friday and Sunday), and hopefully some tournaments between the weekends. But it's all on clay...

Philipp needs one more withdrawal to get in the Manchester main draw! So it looks like he'll play another grass event.

He will play Kitzbühel quali as well, but probably only because it's near his home.

HE was (with KAS) in the doubles final last week in RIMINI, italy!!!! They lost in 3 sets!!!

In doubles and fast surfaces he deserves wildcards for important tournaments!!!

Good luck Phillip! don´t give up!!!!

Damn! That's the second time this year he went to a challenger just to play doubles! So I totally missed it. Thanks for the info! I think he would have needed only one withdrawal in Tampere this week to get in, but it didn't happen. So his next singles match will be on Saturday in Kitzbühel. I hope he can team up with an Austrian to get a doubles wildcard. The final in Rimini gives him a new career highest ranking in doubles (133).

On Sunday he has the next match to make 10 ranking points! Would be funny if he made the second main draw in an ATP clay event this year.

Kitzbühel:
Q1 Petzschner d. Kotchetkov 6-4 6-2
QR Petzschner - Schukin/Haider-Maurer

It looks like he's only playing Bundesliga (league tennis) the next weeks on clay.

Today an improvement:
TC Max Aicher Piding – TC Blau-Weiss Halle 4:5
Marach, Oliver (AUT/162) – Hernandez, Oscar (ESP/79) 6:3, 6:4
Vinciguerra, Andreas (SWE/781) – Haehnel, Jerome (FRA/110) 4:6, 4:6
Petzschner, Philipp (GER/296) – Ramirez-Hidalgo, Ruben (ESP/140) 3:6, 4:6
Kas, Christopher (GER/715) – Waske, Alexander (GER/114) 6:7(3), 7:6(7) 1:1 W.ret.
Prinosil, David (GER) – Patience, Oliver (FRA/143) 3:6, 6:3, 6:4
Hromec, Martin (SVK) – Eschauer, Werner (AUT/313) 3:6, 4:6
Marach/Vinciguerra – Haehnel/Bachelot, Jean-Francois 3:6, 7:6(7), 6:7(4)
Petzschner/Kas – Patience/Devilder, Nicolas 7:6(4), 6:3
Prinosil/Hromec – Ramirez-Hidalgo/Trifu, Gabriel 6:7(3), 6:7(8)

No, he will probably miss it, he would need about 20 new withdrawals I think.
