Re: Philipp Petzschner
A 6-4 5-3 lead wasn't enough against Andujar.

Re: Philipp Petzschner
Greul/Petzschner lost by walkover. Only one tournament in the next three weeks for him. I would say it's about time for a quarterfinal or more somewhere.

Re: Philipp Petzschner
He lost 6-2 6-3 to Vagnozzi in Bundesliga (won in doubles together with Meffert 7-5 6-1 against Vagnozzi-Azzaro, but I suppose it was a dead rubber?)
His draw in Segovia:
Montanes Albert (ESP - 1) - Galvani Stefano (ITA)
Petzschner Philipp (GER) - Martin-Adalia Pablo (ESP - WC)

Re: Philipp Petzschner
The loss against Berrer was a bit unexpected to me. I think the last half year his form seemed to be quite good, but still except Wimbledon he didn't get any big success.
tennislive.tv has a summary of the last Aachen game, also a short interview with Philipp.

Re: Philipp Petzschner
Thanks for the heads-up, what a question from the interviewer! "Do you prefer to play in Bundesliga or in Davis Cup?", he must have thought really hard to come up with that question.

Re: Philipp Petzschner
Brilliant 1-6 7-6(1) 8-10 loss against Bastian Knittel yesterday, but it seems he was ill during the week. So all in all he played 8 of the 9 Bundesliga ties and 2 matches in the Swiss league.
The important qualifying should start on Tuesday. He has 77 points to defend in the two USO weeks. Kas/Petzschner are going to play.

Re: Philipp Petzschner
Aaargh, he's killing me today, had to save so many BP to hold at 3-6 3-3!
Edit: He breaks out of the blue to take the set (after having saved BP again to hold at 4-4).
Let's hope Stoppini will be severely pissed off to lose that set, he had so many chances.

Re: Philipp Petzschner
 3-6 6-4 7-6(3)
Came back from one break down again in the 3rd set. What a struggle.
I thought you were pessimistic, guys, but now I'm scared for the next round too!

You are using this smiley quite often for Philipp.
After this he really is the underdog tomorrow I would say. I was watching most of the match against Beck in February when I even closed the stream after he got broken in the second set, because he had absolutely no chance. Somehow he turned it around and dominated the whole third set, but the first part of that match makes me a bit pessimistic.
