Our quarter:
(6)Young - Q
Q - Petzschner
Stadler - Spadea
(3)Mahut bye

Please just not Peya in the first round.

The doubles tournament looks winnable. First round is against (3)Ratiwatana/Ratiwatana.

Do you need the video of the Björkman-Ullyett match btw, JMG? I can upload it somewhere if you want to see it.

The second part doesn't work for me, it always stops at 150 MB or earlier. I don't know what's wrong.

Sorry, I'm uploading it somewhere else at the moment.

Edit: Do you mean you get an error when you download it from Eatlime or when you unpack it? :-/ The *.rar files are working for me, I tried to unpack the whole video before I uploaded them.

He was playing league on late Friday afternoon, I hope he isn't tired or something. 5-5 all in the first set and it looks very difficult.

edit
What a way to miss the direct entry for New York. He was 3-1 and *5-4 up in the third set. He hit 1 Ace in this match?!

Today they face the Ratiwatana twins and I fear there's not even a livescore for that court.

New try - there is a curse on the "part 2" file, my browser crashed yesterday before I could copy the link for the download and I had to upload the whole file again:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=WN91OSK8

Yesterday's result really sucks. :-/ (And so does my female intuition, I was SO sure he was going to do well in Newport...)

It worked now Truc. I already saw some of it. This break at 5-4 in the second set was amazing.

1R Petzschner/Peya d. (3)Ratiwatana/Raitiwatana 6-7(3) 6-4 10-7
QF Petzschner/Peya - Sirianni/Stadler

Take the title now!

SF Fish/Isner d. Petzschner/Peya 7-6(4) 4-6 10-7

They didn't face a break point the whole match and missed a triple set point (40-15) on Isner's serve in the first set at 5-4.

Amersfoort:
Petzschner - (6)Serra
Navarro/Petzschner - (3)Montanes/Ventura

Bad draws but I like his partner for this tournament.

Default Re: Philipp Petzschner

I guess getting Serra is a good draw.

But besides: Philipp has missed really a big chance gaining some points in Newport in order to make the cut for US Open because of his unexpected loss against doubles-partner Peya.

His updated ranking will give him a Nr.3 seed or so in US Open Qualy i suppose

Next weeks are clay weeks. I guess we can`t expect too much of Philipp there as he plays too inconsistenly.

On a good day, he would blow away Serra. But you never know.

He needs some points desperately as he has to defend his points of the final of Oberstaufen Challenger last year.

It would be better staying in the states and play HC, but i guess team obligations for Tennis Bundesliga will keep him in Europe and clay

Navarro is a good choice for doubles and on a hot run lately, winning Cordoba Challenger and Quarterfinals in Newport. Strong serve, good guy.

Nice Note: Matthias Bachinger was playing against Navarro in Cordoba Challenger. Bachinger lost first set and led 6:0!!! in Tiebreak in 2nd Set and ......still lost TB)

I guess it also was because Bachinger had to play Stuttgart qualies the following day...but really weird anyway
