1R Petzschner - Söderling

Please give him an easier draw in the doubles.

1R Kas/Petzschner - (2)Damm/Vizner

Finally Philipp play main draw at Halle

I think Philipp should be win aginst Robin Soderling and (2)Damm/Vizner.
So, no worry about that.
Camon on Philipp, let's get first title on the grass.

1R Söderling d. Petzschner 6-4 4-6 6-4

He got broken for the sets. In Wimbledon qualifying there is no Söderling at least, he has to keep it up and qualify.

I know, what a joke! Can't find anything about him on the website either, although he almost beat Söderling.

Nice win over Gicquel-Santoro 6-4 7-5, it could have been even easier because they were up a break during the whole 2nd set, if I'm not mistaken.

100 points in the bank and another good news: Stepanek withdrew with Berdych, so that Youzhny/Zverev are the semifinal opponents. I rate Berdych/Stepanek much higher than Youzhny/Zverev.

Again they didn't put any news about their match on the website.

Another day off tomorrow. That means they should play on center court on Saturday.

Nerve-wracking match. They went from *6-5 40-15 to 40-40 and 2nd serve, but took the point to win the first set finally!

Youzhny/Zverev with 73% first serves in so far, Kas/Petzschner only 53%.

Great, from 4-4 quadruple break point, to 7-5 4-6 1-5. ... 7-10

They're showing the 3rd set on ZDF.

Philipp is the one who got broken at the end of the 2nd set.
But Kas wasn't flawless either in the TB.

Glad they were at least shortly on TV, I wasn't expecting that!

There's also the usual highlights video here: http://video.gerryweber-open.de/

There was at least a big volley chance for Kas on the 4th break point (at 75 44 40-40). In the tb they already wasted many chances on the first point.

Tomorrow are the next draws, hopefully he won't get Karol Beck or something like that.

Incredible they missed it to get a good chance for the title

I still hate Youzhny only from see him this week and at French Open on TV... that choke hurts more if I think of that he could win it Sunday
