Quote:

I really hope they made the main draw in Wimbledon. Would be interesting to see them in a best-of-5 match.

Stuttgart
1R (wc)P.Petzschner/P.Phau - M.Garcia/S.Prieto (ARG)

He could have played Challenger main draws the next 3 weeks and now only doubles and no singles quali because of Bundesliga.

In Kitzbühel he's alternate #13 in the qualifying at least.

US Open
1R Kas/Petzschner d. Benneteau/Mahut 7-6(3) 7-5
2R (10)Fyrstenberg/Matkowski d. Kas/Petzschner 6-2 7-6(8)

Damn shit! They won against a difficult opponent though. Better than nothing. SO many doubles are 50/50 these days, I hope he will have some luck one day to go far.

Let's see what he will do next. I hope he will play in Asia the ATP tournaments, including singles qualifying!

Donetsk Challenger 25'000 $
1R (WC)Philipp Petzschner (GER) - Sergei Krotiouk (RUS,1018)

What a golden chance! Stadler would be in R2, Bozoljac in QF.

Schedule:
36: Donetsk

38: France F12 (15+H)

Looks like he will concentrate on singles now! I feel he can qualify for the AusOpen quali if he keeps playing singles this year. He should do a mix of Futures, Challengers and ATP, for example Moscow and St.Petersburg.

Donetsk Challenger 25'000 $
1R (WC)Philipp Petzschner (GER) - Sergei Krotiouk (RUS,1018) 3-0 susp.
