I ran to the caja magica after work wanting to see the two philipps vs los pijos in a repeat of the DC match from couple years ago. then i realized that the match was suspended. now i know why.

Hope he recovers soon!

He was injured before the match already, Gaël says in L'Equipe that Philipp had told him about it before the match. And he was serving at 50 km/h right from the beginning. He only broke back because Gaël made 2 DF.
They seem to really get along well, Gaël says it's too bad it happened against Philipp "car je l'adore"!

They interviewed him during the doubles on WDR yesterday, did he say anything interesting, is it worth looking for it in the video?

They asked Kühnen about him in the interview after the doubles match of Kas/K. Again they put it as if he only didn't play DC because he didn't want to sign the wada thing.

The commentator also had the ridiculous thought that he might still play in the WTC.

Terrible interview together with Berrer in tennis magazin about the Davis Cup and the doping tests stories...
I saw them give the interview in Munich, they stayed for ages with the journalist, but the transcript is quite short and really useless.
Philipp says some gems like "Germany sent their best possible team to Toulon, Kohli and Benji are the German number 1 and 2 and Kas the best doubles player", etc. ^^

And lost. Pretty disappointing as he was 2-0 in sets up and had lots of chances afterwards. But maybe logical because of his injury...

"Pretty disappointing" is mildly put, even if I can imagine that the lack of training because of his leg/hip didn't help. He's turning into a serial choker in Slams. He had such a good record in 5 setters just one year ago!
I can't find anything in the useless German media.

I think they had 2 bps at 3-3, but from there it went downhill.

Doubles with Melzer is confirmed for Halle, so they should play the whole grass season.

I'm a bit disappointed he doesn't play the cult tournament Newport this time, but it isn't surprising.

I saw the article about the doubles teams on the Halle website, but I didn't find the "Official Player Acceptance List for Doubles" which is mentioned at the end of the article, do you have it?
