I sure hope so. Just to watch the chaos it will create on MTF: Almagro in a hardcourt slam semi

Bet some of MTF's biggest haters would almost, ALMOST want Rafa to come back

He lost 4 times to him in 2012. With that said I want to go out on a limb and say Almagro in 5 sets. You have to be sick and tired of losing to the same opponent 12x in a row. Especially with the SF up for stake Almagro should be motivated for a higher achievement aside from revenge.

Mugro seems to be in decent form but the match-up will come into play.

Ferrer in 4

The first decent player Ferrer has to meet at this AO, but there shouldn't be too much trouble. Ferrer in 4.

Well, most of their matches have been played on clay. There's a chance for Almugro

Ferrer one win away from the big 500. Would be great to reach it by making his first back-to-back GS SF.

Every single person on this planet thinks Almagro is going to lose, including himself and his mother, who already bought the ingredients to prepare his favorite dish the day after.

Almagro in 5.

Federer, Nadal and Djokovic pander to plutocrats and charge huge appearance fees. The "trickle down effect" means that tournaments like the Heineken Open now have to pay appearance money for racketeers that many of us have never heard of. It's close to extortion.

At the end of Federer's first round match at the Australian Open a fawning interviewer asked about his kids and if he had bought coach Stefan Edberg a birthday present - no, by the way, the privilege of knocking up with 'King Roger' was enough of a present apparently.

this H2H is one of the most disgusting ones in tennis. A player of Almagros caliber has no business not taking a single win vs the likes of Ferrer.

One thing if it was Federer (look at Ferrer's own H2H vs Fed) but this is Ferrer.

He just needs to say: "No one is gonna vulture Almagro 13 times in a row" and then go out and work his ass off

Hmm, on one hand Almagro seems due to win. But I don't see it on hard court (Which I think is Ferrer's best surface, he's not that great on clay, everyone else just sucks)
Ferrer 6-4 6-7(5) 6-2 6-4
