Federer in 3 would be ideal in case he'd to potentially play Tsonga in the next round. Heavy servers are boring and exhausting.
I'm going Federer in 4. Probably a safe prediction judging their previous encounters.

Fed is obviously a favor but wouldn't be shocked if Raonic upsets him. Fed struggling with ros big time these days and Milos is one of better tie break players. The match will be decided by point or two. Won't be an easy 3 setter for sure |

The key in the previous meetings has been Fed's struggles returning Milos' 2nd serve. I think Fed struggles against Milos more than many other big servers due to Raonic's ability to get serves to kick really high to Fed's backhand, which Fed does not like.

Well, unless you were in Melbourne, you didn't see him in R2. And he played fine yesterday against Kohli.
Milos has taken a set off Federer each of the three times they've played (all very close exchanges) and I would anticipate that the same kind of match could very well happen again. |
