I gather the egg can't be used legally in certain countries. The Italians have banned it as they apparently consider it open to abuse as a means for covering illegal blood transfusions and masking EPO micro dosing.

I formulate it more general. I believe most top athletes are doped, There are so many ways these days to support yourself with some techniques or substances that might not even yet be illegal. history shows that most people cheat if they can or in other words do whatever it takes to win. Specifically I do not believe that tennis players can run for 5-6 hours on bananas alone.
Well at least give them benefit of a doubt, that Baker guy, he comes back after 7 years of retirement and soon he breaks almost into top 50. Was he immediately doped up to be able to hang with the pros?

If it is true, it seems a little hypocritical from Nole to have such hard words on Armstrong (saying he as to suffer for what he has done). Because that would mean he is given twice the advantage Lance had.

I'm not going to defend Lance, the guy is a cheat and a bully. But during his interview he said that he didn't feel like a cheat because every one in the TDF peloton had access to the same doping method. Of course his argument is not valid in my eye, but if we put it in the tennis perspective, I'm pretty sure not all tennis player can afford the same technology 75000$ as the world #1.
Well, if the people selling it said so...

I don't care if they are just blowing with the wind. I am really glad to see this.

Murray's comments about not enough out-of-competition tests and not enough blood tests are particularly good. That is exactly the problem with tennis and it is fantastic to hear a top player finally say it.

If you're not so biased towards Djokovic you could have read in the OP his comments about him haven't been tested for blood 6/7 months and the tests had been regularly taken 2/3 years back. He also said the more blood tests and urine the better for the sport.
You may consider also that English is not his mother tongue and refrain himself from more profound discussions because it may be difficult to him.

Oh please. He said drug testing in tennis is 'really good'.

Comparing those comments to Federer and Murray, who actually came straight out and said that the current system isn't good enough, is ridiculous. Yet you call me biased? Irony.

Djokovic expressed the view that the present testing was sufficient and the blood passport not really required in tennis.

Hardly a vote for improving the joke of a system which doesn't even bother to run a single test on him for months at a time.

Federer, as the players' representative, should raise the awareness to the topic more frequently IMO and he could do it more efficiently then Novak.

Yes, those were posted in GM at the time. If you look at the dates, they're not recent: they date back to when the Armstrong scandal first broke last autumn.
