Default Australian Open R3 : Ferrer def. Baghdatis 6-4 6-2 6-3

Better player lost.

Marcos was terrible. Not to mention that him being terrible was the only way for The Vulture to win this match in the first place.

Hopefully, Kei will take care of him.

Good level from Ferrer, could be better though.

Thought it would be 4 sets

Way too much game from Ferrer. He is in top form and I can't see him not being in the semis. Seriously who is going to stop him? Berdych?

From being in the semis? Clearly not Berdych, as he is not in his quarter.

Marcos can't concentrate. So many silly errors. He relies too much on his talent but lacks the discipline which is required to compete at top level.

I feel for his fans though. So much expected since 2006. So little delivered.

Ferrer was crap today, but his 5% was enough to win against the Fatdatis. Ferrer is too good for the players outside Top 10. His worst is significantly above their best.

Hoping for an entertaining match against Kei. And also for Kei to eliminate him.

Bagdhatis has been going through the motions like this for the past 5 years. His X-factor has completely dissipated and he basically gets routined by every top player he faces. He's obviously talented and capable so it's quite disappointing how he continues to churn out these pedestrian performances.

Get over yourself, and stop making this threads. Ferrer is no pusher. FYI Ferrer hit 25-30 winners-UE to 16-42 to baghdatis. He was the one that was controlling the rallies and was the one that is more willing to change the direction of the ball.
