Default AO 2rd RD: Cilic def. Ram 7:5, 6:2, 6:4

Cilic was very good in the first set and last game. Other than that he wasn't good. Actually, he returning very good in some parts of that period.
However, he won in 3 so we should be satisfied.

Next one is Seppi who played over than 4 hours today (and today is 40 celsisus), while Marin played 2 hours.

Marin was bad? Well at least it wasn't a "Magical Mugrin Marathon" 5 setter. I'm sick of those

If Nadull had an argument for GOAT, it's that he got so far with no talent. It's like dragging a dying weasel across a long road. He gets there, but it's an ugly sight to behold. Nadull is a classless cheat, and a pretender.

No, he was great in first (just like Ram), Ram mentally collapsed in the 2nd while Marin was alot worse than in first one. However he won that set 6:2, so he wasn't that bad. He should made break at 3:2 in the 3rd. He had 15:40, one forehand in the net and after that miss he have not courage to attack on one easy ball he would win easily in first set and half (it was same in Ram's vey next serve game). Interesting Marin won just a few points againt the serve in the first while he "was on" Ram's every serve game in the two other sets.

The (big) problem is Marin get tied how he was closer to win. However he was soooo confidence in the last game of the match, even more than in the first set (in the first one he was 16:6 W/UE, 13:6 in the 2nd and 16:8 in the 3rd).

I mean after first set winner was never doubt (maybe even from the start of the match). Ram didn't have a single BP. He won just 15 points in the 15 return's games (Marin won first 15 points on the serve).

But knowing Marin he is self-confident how he never was before.

Yeah. He didn't lost single set. Seven out nine top 10 players didn't lost a set plus Wawrinka, Berankis and he. But Wawrinka played 5 sets while Berankis lost one in qualies. That's tell something (ok, Matosevic and ram are good draw but he didn't lost a set).
