The Rosol match was an anomaly; the top-4 guys get to the SF more often than not, regardless of the draw. Fact is, a very limited number of players on a very very good day, stand a chance against any of the top-4, when they are atleast slightly off.
Federer was never in any danger against either Paire or Davydenko, and I'd be highly surprised if Tomic' apathy will throw him off. Same goes for Djokovic and Murray. Ferrer is not as good as these guys so he'll have a harder time.
Finally saw Reservoir Dogs for the first time recently and, without giving too much away for those who haven't watched it, Federer could certainly do a lot worse in terms of character comparisons from that film
