How many grand slams for Tomic when all said and done?
It's obvious that after winning a prestigious tournament at the beginning of the year (5th slam IMO) and convincingly dispatching a legend of the game Daniel Brands in 4 sets, The Great One will have an amazing career, easily to rival any number of tennis greats. So in the opinion of the venerable tennis experts of MTF, how many (if any) slams for the great B-Nard? Vote away!

what will happen first? Tomic winning a slam or Trollspindoctor making a good post?

He just needs to win Abu Dhabi, the Boodles Challenge and Kooyong to complete a career slam.

I believe Tomic and Berlocq will be racking up the slams in the next few years. Tomic will win a few more considering he's better on hard courts.

More than one. No idea how many, but we're not talking one of the alltime greats here.

Re: How many grand slams for Tomic when all said and done?
I actually honestly see him ending up with something like 7. and you'd think this is a nuts prediction given he has none so far BUT he's only 20 and the future of tennis (the youngsters) looks rather abysmal. he's not yards, but miles in front of his current contemporaries as far as progress, so unless a lot of them mature and improve drastically, you could see TOmic being the man to beat in 5/6 years, maybe earlier than then

But Djokovic, Murray, Del Potro, Nadal have probably a lot of years ahead still.
And even if they're gone, he is not that superior to Dimitrov, Goffin or Tomic to win that amount of slams.
I think he will end up with 3, but he won't win one for a while. The first one may come in 2016 or 2017.
