good result for Chardy, the match was 50/50 imo so it's nice he could win quite easily, besides set 2 he was in control.

Probably delpo next so this is probably as far as he goes but you never know he did manage to oust Tsonga in Toronto last year so he might get it done

Jérémy in 3rd round
It seems like Granollers executed his game and caused Chardy to make more errors in 2nd set, but Chardy still prevailed with convinced scoreline, pretty impressive.

I watched large parts of this. In the second set, Jérémy was an error machine when he tried to finish points at the net. At the start of the third set, only his serve kept him in the match, when he faced a couple of breakpoints. After having hold, Jim decided to go back to his strength, huge forehands and continuing to serve well and this paid off.
